In the historic Nyhavn district and in cozy maritime surroundings, the seafood bistro Havfruen (The Mermaid) serves sustainable, locally caught fresh fish with a view of the historic ships and the canal outside the windows.

LIGHT-menu: 2-course menu with starter and main course DKK 295,

Starter – choose between: 

Salmon Tartar – citrus marinated, fresh herbs, trout roe

Skagentoast – hand-peeled North Sea shrimps, mayonnaise, dill, toasted sourdough bread  

Main Course – choose between:

Moules Frites – mussels, white wine, cream, onion, garlic, herbs, French fries, aioli

Fish’n’Chips – fried cod fish, pea puree, French fries, tartar sauce
