In the program, you will also find details about events during the festival, including the concert series with the DR Vocal Ensemble in Marmorkirken, pop-ups near the light artworks, and the Light Run and Family Run, starting and ending at Ofelia Plads. The event program is continuously updated throughout the festival.
Embark on a journey through Copenhagen’s city center and explore Refshaleøen, Ørestad, DR Koncerthuset, Vestre Kirkegård, Nordhavn, and the bridge districts. The light festival extends from February 2nd to 25th, and the light works illuminate every evening from 5 PM to 10 PM.

As something new, Copenhagen Light Festival organizes guided walks about the light festival’s works and background.
Transform a chilly winter February evening into an enchanting experience with the guided walking tour from the Copenhagen Light Festival through the heart of Copenhagen. As darkness descends, light artworks ignite, creating a glowing route through the Inner City, promising to warm the senses with inspiring stories behind each piece, narrated by knowledgeable guides from the light festival.
Each guided tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes with 24 participants

Join the photo competition for Copenhagen Light Festival 2024!
Once again, we invite the guests of the light festival to share pictures of your favorite light installations and atmospheric images from your visits around the city – with us and with a jury that will nominate 25 pictures, all together presented in a photo exhibition about Copenhagen Light Festival 2024.
