We are ready to present the first new artworks.

As something new, we will be launching the artworks gradually here on the website,
allowing the festival to unfold slowly – artwork by artwork.

At the same time, we are developing maps, routes, an app and a treasure hunt, creating an experience that is uplifting, inspiring and inclusive – there is something here for you.

Our guided tours are now open for booking, and we are currently preparing light runs and Silent Disco.

We’re looking forward to it.

The winner of the photo competition has been announced!

A big congratulations to Christos Gianakopoulos, winner of the Copenhagen Light Festival 2025 Photo Competition!
Christos won this year’s competition with his photo of the artwork “Connection” by Bert Ensing, receiving 528 votes.
He says: “I film at the light festival every year — but I never imagined I would win.”
