#23 fish-anxious

By: Frederik Lauenborg, Gabriela Valenzuela-Luczynska, Karl-Emil Bengtson & Karthik Mourougane

fish-anxious casts a stark light on Denmark’s endangered fish species and the ecological anxiety they evoke.

The installation merges sculptural forms with AI-generated imagery to create a profoundly unsettling experience. Mutated fish forms swim across surfaces as a visually striking reminder of the scale of the climate crisis. The work invites audiences to confront a future where nature’s balance is unraveling and poses the question: What are we willing to do to change course?
