CUMULU3 transforms the audience’s breath into glowing movements beneath the water. By exhaling into illuminated tubes, color-shifting LED circles below the surface are activated, growing and glowing like dreamlike underwater clouds.
The installation explores the connection between humans and nature, symbolizing our shared responsibility to sustain life for future generations.

About the artist
Arthur Steijn is a Dutch-Danish installation artist specializing in electronic design and interactivity.
Holding an MFA from Rotterdam and with many years of teaching experience at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen, he works at the intersection of technology and art, often creating works in and around water.
