About the artist
Benedikt Tolar, a prominent Czech contemporary artist, transforms everyday objects into conceptual artworks.
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he works with recycled materials such as bathtubs to explore themes of resource scarcity and consumption habits. Tolar unites the absurd and the sublime in his sculptural works.
