Doppler

Doppler

Artist: Søren Lyngsø Knudsen

Doppler is an interactive light and sound installation inspired by the Doppler effect, which is the most common technology used for robots to “see” us humans.

The artwork consists of three transparent acrylic columns with rotating mirrored panels and light sources that respond to the presence of viewers. On Filmtaget, the installation’s dynamic nature creates an ever-changing experience, where light and sound merge in a hypnotic interplay, engaging both the surroundings and the audience.
