LIGHT RUN 2026

LIGHTRUN – RUN THROUGH THE LIGHT

Run through the oldest part of Copenhagen and become part of the light artworks during Copenhagen Light Festival.

 

  • February 8
  • 3.4 km (Family Run – 5:00 PM) or 6.8 km (6:00 PM)
  • Light chain included
  • 5% donated to Make-A-Wish Danmark

LIGHT COSTUMES

You will receive one light chain before the start.
We encourage everyone to add even more light and turn themselves into moving artworks.

The most outstanding light costume will be awarded a beautiful hotel stay and other prizes.

RUN WITH LIGHT – FOR TWO GOOD CAUSES

We proudly support and collaborate with Make-A-Wish Danmark, helping fulfill wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.
5% of every ticket goes directly to their work.

We also collaborate with Copenhagen Front Runners, part of Pan Idræt.

About the Light Run

The Light Run was first held 8 years ago, with 1,200 runners participating last year.
Copenhagen Light Festival presents more than 45 light artworks across the city.
